WordPress/MySQL Problems!

The site has been down a few times during the last couple of days because of problems with the MySQL database that WordPress uses. The problem is that the user logs in, but does NOT log out again. For some reason the time out doesn’t work and when the maximun amount of users is reached, which is 50, the database locks up. I’ve upgraded WordPress to 2.0.3, to see if that solves the problem. I also use Akismet 1.15, to minimize comment and trackback spam.
Does anyone know anything about this problem? Is there a solution? Help is greatly appreciated.
Been Really Busy!

It’s been almost a week since my last post and almost three since the last Hit Test Podcast. It still is a hectic period in which I’m learning a lot, trying to figure out stuff and als trying to deal with things in more than one way. Trying to find or create possibilities and making the right choices, seem to be the current issues. So a lot is going on still, which made it impossible to produce a podcast. Right now, I don’t know when it will be possible again. Time’ll tell I guess. Sorry to keep you waiting, but it’s just the way it is.
My Server Is Up And Running Again!

Replacing my server’s PSU was a piece of cake. It took a whole 5 minutes! 
The temperature of both the motherboard and the CPU are down and holding steady at a comfortable level. So everything is back up again.

Due to problems with one of my server’s PSU fans, it will be down shortly, causing me to be offline and unreachable for a while. Whooo scary!! It won’t affect this site by the way. Hopefully I’ll be back online after replacing the PSU.

Site Was Down

Due to problems with the MySQL database, this site was down for almost a day. The problem was “maximum user login reached”. We don’t know why, but it could have been caused by a referrer attack. Hopefully it won’t happen again.

Gonna spend the Whitsun days, with a certain someone, relaxing in a former abbey, that’s now a hotel, located in a beautiful scenery near Ossendrecht, here in the Netherlands.

New Cell Phone! (UPDATE)

I decided to go with the Nokia 6280! The Nokia N80 is not available yet at Vodafone and it’s much more expensive. I made some changes to the service and signed up for another two years and got the phone for free. It’ll probably arrive somewhere next week.
