A New Home! / No Show This Week!

Sometimes things can go really fast. Yesterday, after intense negotiations, we bought a new place to call home! A lot of things still have to be taken care of, but soon we will be living in Rijswijk, the Netherlands, just south of The Hague. This is gonna be a very exciting new step in my life! Bacause all my spare time and energy was spent on several meetings with real estate agents and solving computer hardware problems, there’s not gonna be a show this week.
Cool Coolers & Bad Fans!

After several problems with cooling fans, I replaced the CPU cooler in my server and in one of my PC’s with this one.
Due to problems with an 80x80x15 fan in the Chieftec PSU in my server, which is NOT available anywhere, I had to replace the whole unit. Becasue the replacement PSU I bought when I got my server is exactely the same, this happened twice now. So, because of a failing fan that costs about $7, you need to spend about $64 on a new unit that otherwise works just fine. Not very professional of Chieftec.
Anyway, nice temps again and some peace and quiet! 
No Show This Week

Hey everybody.
For several reasons, there won’t be a show this week.
First of all I haven’t been doing to well. Lots of terrible headaches.
The second reason is that I’ve been pretty busy. I’ve updated the websites for Help at Hand and Hit Test Productions again. Unfortunately they are still looking pretty bad. I could really use some help, so let me know if you have any tips.
The audio production software project, formerly known as JamiriX, has come to a temporary halt. The programmer has left the project. I’m now looking for someone to replace him. So, if you are a C++ programmer with knowledge of audio and interested in a really cool challenge, or know one, please let me know.
At the moment the house hunting takes up a lot of time and energy. The good news is that we might have found the right place. Been busy with pictures and floor plans and stuff. Next week it’s time to compare mortgage deals and do research for other financial things. It’s very exciting and scary at the same time! To be continued…
