Off To The Big Apple!
Posted on 24. Feb, 2008 by Jan Polet in News/Info
In less than 2 hours I’ll be on my way to the Big Apple!
I just posted Hit Test 110, but because Adam released the show late, I don’t have time to update the page with iTunes links. It’ll have to wait.
Don’t know if I’ll be able to blog in the comming week, so see you when I see you!
Contacts

Since the start of The Hit Test, I’ve gathered many Skype contacts. Many times the amount exceeded 100. A few days ago I started to clean up the list and removed people I haven’t been in contact with for years or that I just didn’t want on my list anymore. It’s now down to 67. When I came accross someone I’ve been in contact with only once a year or so, but in a very good way, I decide to not remove that person. The funny thing is that some 30 seconds later, that person contacted me again, which was very nice. Coincidence? Nah. Don’t believe in those.
Lately there seems to be a lot of synchronicity going on as well. Nice!
Traffic & Comments
Posted on 21. Feb, 2008 by Jan Polet in News/Info
The Hit Test has always been very succesful, but somehow the amount of comments and emails have dropped a lot since the Hit Test was gone from Adam Curry’s podcast The Daily Source Code for about 18 months until May of 2007. The weird thing is however that the data traffic did not go dowm and is still around the same numbers as some three years ago. So, why is that? Have people become more passive? Are they now just listening to their MP3 players, which is not “new” anymore, and therefore interacting less? Or has the completely automated way of getting shows delivered to your player been implemented so well that websites have become opsolete? Let me know what you think is going on, ’cause I wanna know.
Continuation

For those of you who were following what was happening to me, and around me, some three years ago, it might be nice to hear that a few things that at that time stopped rather abruptly, now, after al this time, seem to be continuing, which in this case is very nice.
How many of you are still there, by the way?
