Blog vs. Twitter

The last post on this weblog that didn’t have anything to do with the Hit Test was about me needing a new cell phone and is dated March 9th.
In the meantime three weeks have past and I’ve become the proud owner of a Nokia N95 8GB, of which I’ve included a nice picture in this post.
I found myself only posting messages to do with the Hit Test on this page. I’ve used Twitter for all other messages. Why? I’m not really sure. Twitter is easier I guess. Most messages are very short and can easily be entered through twitter.com or even my new Nokia phone. As to this page, on which posts can only be entered through the WordPress interface, which on my GoDaddy site is very slow.
Due to the automated ways of subscribing to podcasts (RSS) weblogs have become almost absolete. I realize that this post is also part of my RSS feed, but still. I haven’t figured out what to do with this weblog other than posting Hit Tests to keep the feed updated. The Hit Test also has a page and a feed on The PodShow Network. In the meantime you can follow me on Twitter to stay updated on other things, although I have to add that at the moment I just post stuff when I feel like it, so I’m not very disciplined at posting messages there either.

I Need A New Cell Phone!

My current cell phone, the Nokia 6280, isn’t working very well for me anymore, so I need a new one. I don’t know which one I want. The Nokia N95 8GB looks good, but it’s so expensive and I think I want a touch screen, which it doesn’t have. Due to the fact that I’m visually impaired, it’s impossible to find a phone with a screen on which I can see everything there is to see. For me to be able to at least read some of the info on it, I need a phone needs to have a low resolution ‘big screen’.
I don’t want the phone to be as big as an iPaq.
Being able to use Skype on a phone would be great.
It’s a shame the Nokia N810 is not a phone.
What do you think is the better phone OS: Symbian or Windows Mobile?
New Header Images!

I updated the header images on this page with some pics from my trip to NYC, that I returned from today. Right now there are three rotating images (at page load).
